PHYSICS TUTORING LAB:

Location: Gardiner Hall Room 225 Website:

Phone: (575) 646-3831

Hours:

Physics Tutoring: The goal of tutoring is to assist you in understanding main concepts in introductory physics and guide you to become an independent learner. GN225 is a great place to have a study group, find help for homework problems or get other physics questions answered. Bring your textbook, class notes or other course resources with you. The tutors can show you how to use those efficiently and use them as reference. Tutors do not have the solutions to your homework problem. This means that they have to go through the problem solutions steps themselves and do not have readymade answers in their head. Since one of the big goals of learning physics is the problem solving process, it is very valuable to have the relevant approaches modeled.
